Burkina Faso is an inland country in West Africa around with 274,200 square kilometers (105,900 sq mi) in size. It is surrounded by all sides by six countries:Niger to the east, Mali to the north, Benin to the southeast, Togo and Ghana to the south, and Ivory Coast to the southwest. Its capital is Ouagadougou.
Per 2014 records, its population was estimated at about 17.3 million.Formerly Burkina Faso was called the Republic of Upper Volta,and later the renamed "Burkina Faso" on 4th August 1984 by then-President Thomas Sankara. .

Bangr Weogo Park is located at the heart of the city of Ougadougou, it is such an awesome urban park which is full of plants and animals.
The park is indeed huge and full of trails everywhere! you have to get a tour guide to be with you because you may eventually get found yourself in difficulty in your way out of there,if you are alone.

There are most of the times the place is very hot and sometimes its pretty cool .Native urban forest once was under the ownership of the emperor of Mossé, the forest of the dam of Ouagadougou was classified in 1936 by the decree of ‘AOF’, signed by the Governor COPET. What was once a dumping area and meeting place for bandit was then cleaned up, developed from 1995 to 2000 and returned to the Commune of Ouagadougou on the 5th January 2001.
It has many important aims,one is to develop Tourism and Ecotourism and also to conserve biodiversity.
