Al Fahidi Fort, a stunning desert  fortified place and architectural marvel, which houses the Dubai entertaining Museum,was built in 1787 and was officially turned into the Dubai Museum in 1971,being the oldest existing building in the  situated at the south of Dubai Creek. A look inside this   museum will take you back memories in time to a more traditional Dubai, with artifacts on display during the olden era, the Dubai Museum features items used in the pearling trade of days past.The underground section of the fort makes use of the latest technology to display this Emirate’s past occurrences. Be set to be charmed as you witness many amazing ancient instruments, handcrafted weapons and the re-made grave from the Al-Qusais tombs.

There are opening and closing hours for the museum,and is as follows
Saturday-Thursday;  8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
 Fridays 2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The opening and closing time  differs in the period of Ramadan (Fasting period) :
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday-Thursday;
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Fridays

Fees are being taken as an Admission fees to enter the museum ,the rate for Adults: Dhs 3; and Children: Dhs 1.This fee might be increase as time goes by.

Another place to visit as tourist or someone planning for tour in Dubai is the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.It is a large Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.Tourist who normally visit this place go for  scuba diving, swim with the sharks, meet the dolphins and explore the many Kinds of fish and other aquatic animals at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.Visitors can hang around the attraction as long as they want kids most especially love this place.Also,there is  an Aquarium store that you can shop with exciting souvenirs.
